The 3 devices I'm not starting second semester without

Tech yourself before you wreck yourself

As we prepare for second semester, it may be hard to find the motivation to go back and deal with another 4 months of classes. If you're looking for something to treat yourself to (and that you'll actually use), here are three things that I'm not going back to campus without.

Our favorite speaker: UE Boom 3 from Ultimate Ears

The UE Boom 3 is booming with features. I personally use this speaker every single day and I can tell you it gets the job done. With an IP67 water and dust resistance rating, This thing can be dropped, thrown at your brother, then punted, and it will keep running like nothing ever happened. IP67 means that this speaker can be fully submerged in water for up to thirty minutes without any damage. For us though, that translates into we can use it in the shower without stressing. This thing is a tank. The fabric they use on essentially the whole speaker not only looks and feels good, but it's the same fabric they use in motorcycle jackets and fire equipment. If you are looking for a portable bluetooth speaker that packs a punch, and can take a couple too, this is the one for you. Grab it from Ultimate Ears with a student discount. An image Img source

Our favorite headphones: Sennheiser HD 4.40BT

Sennheiser may not have have the recognition of Bose or Beats, but ask anyone who has a pair and they'll tell you why they won’t ever buy another set of headphones again. Sennheiser offers headphones priced from under $100 to over $55,000. They are truly the gurus of groove. The Sennheiser HD 4.40BT offers bluetooth connection with pro-level sound cancellation so that you can finally stop listening to the Nickelback that your brother always bumps… ON THE HOUSE SPEAKERS. I digress; these are the headphones for you whether you’re on the move or lying in bed. An image Img source

Our favorite mouse: Logitech G203 Prodigy

Whether you are a casual PC gamer or trying to go pro, you need a mouse. Logitech has consistently pumped out high quality products for years, and their mice are some of the most highly rated and highest performing on the market. Enter the G203 Prodigy. For $40, and even less with your UNiDAYS discount, this mouse is cheap for a casual mouse, but performs for a pro. With DPI ranging from 200 to 6,000, ultra low latency (about one millisecond), and on board memory to save your settings no matter what PC your playing on, the G203 Prodigy is sure to improve your play.
