Holiday spirits and festive cocktails

Have a cup of cheer

The festive season is upon us, and while we spend most of our time thinking about all the cookies and chocolate we're going to be eating, we've almost forgotten to talk drinks! Check out our festive favorite cocktails.

1. Christmas sangria

Think spiced, wintery flavors with this one. A Christmas sangria will be a hit at a festive party or family gathering. Simply add all of your ingredients (white wine, apple cider, sugar, cranberries, apple and rosemary) into a large pitcher and stir together to help the sugar dissolve. Leave it to chill for 4 hours in the fridge and then you're ready to go. An image

2. Gingerbread bellini

Although it sounds like an overly sweet drink, gingerbread is a staple taste during the festive season. So, strange or not, it's definitely worth trying (especially since it's so easy to make). All you need is a lemon, some ginger cordial, hazelnut liqueur and a big bottle of Prosecco. Find out how to recreate this classic Christmas taste in drink-form here. An image

3. Sparkling clementine, thyme cocktail

For a citrusy dream of a cocktail, why not try this Sparkling Clementine and Thyme cocktail. Even if you're not much of a drinker, this cocktail is really easy to make as a mocktail too! All you need to complete this festive punch is a couple of oranges and pomegranate seeds, 2 sprigs of lemon, thyme, and some sparkling clementine or orange drink. To quench your adult thirst, simply add some vodka. An image
