(Captain) Marvel has never looked better

Higher. Further. Faster.

When it was announced that Brie Larson would be playing Captain Marvel, the internet collectively freaked. Where DC has failed with bringing less than mainstream superheroes and villains to the big screen, Marvel has continuously managed to do the outright improbable. I mean... who could've predicted that Guardians of the Galaxy would be the juggernaut it is today. With the rise of Wonder Woman, it was only a matter of time before Captain Marvel got her own film (and may play an important part in the upcoming Avengers movie). In case you've been avoiding the internet or your TV lately, the FIRST official Captain Marvel trailer dropped on Good Morning America today. Below are just a few of the reactions Twitter had to its premiere.

1. Maybe even enough minutes to reach... 20,000?

3. I feel ~rejuvenated~

4. Doesn't have to be your hero but she IS a hero

5. Well... HAVE YOU

6. Catch me on opening night

7. Welcome back old friend

8. Thanos. They're coming.

9. Sold and never returning.

10. * crying while clapping * YES. YOU. ARE.

Not sure what they're all going on about? Check out the trailer for yourself. Captain Marvel hits theaters March 8, 2019. I may or may not be waiting outside the theater until then so if you see me... please bring me snacks.
