A college student's guide to festival fashion

Missguided Makes Festival Shopping Easy

Missguided has hit the nail on the head when it comes to festival season, and they’re ready to party. I love a one stop shop, and Missguided - with their shorts, bralettes, and accessories - has got it all, head-to-toe.

With all the noise it is important you turn heads without standing on stilts. Here are some fabulous festival looks to keep in mind, or buy! (Everything is linked, so go for it!)

Wild child

Anything goes at festival season, so embrace your crazy side and wear something different from your regular look. The Missguided pink feather bandeau dances in the wind and with every move you make. This is a double take look that will show off your confidence and style. Wear a fitted bottom to show your shape and the white embellished high top sneakers or the white lips badge flat sliders for another fun touch.

Trendy Athletic

You’re going to be dancing - and sweating- and so is everyone else, so why not dress for it? You can still look dressed up in athletic wear as long as you pick the right pieces. The active black wet look mesh panel shorts are easy, breezy, and fabulous. The shine finish and sexy side panels make this anything but an average pair of running shorts. For the top, you can sex it up with a white drop armhole tank and simple bralette. Add some platform sneakers to complete the look. This outfit is all about the basics, therefore, it is the most rewearable of the bunch -money well spent!

The Set

The nude scarf print satin top and short set is my favorite! The print is so fun and the blousy shorts give you the flirty feel of a skirt and the freedom of shorts. Sets are great because they give you a really put together look with basically no effort. Pair it with gladiator sandals and you're ready to go. If you want to amp it up, check out one of Missguided sun hats and add a light colored clutch.

Rocker

If you want an edgier look, then you might want something a bit more casual. The Missguided white distressed pocket t-shirt dress has that super trendy shredded look. An unbelievably easy and comfy look that comes across seriously edgy, especially when paired with the lace up studded sole boots and a black choker. The Missguided pink oriental print satin cap is a really unique piece that will individualize your look - plus it is always fun to add something a little unexpected. This look will is also great if the weather is finicky because any jacket will look good with it.

Lace & Denim

Lace and denim

This is a classic theme for festival season, though my suggestion is a different than just light wash shorts and a pastel bralette. The black anarchy mid rise embroidered feather shorts are different and dynamic. The cream crochet open stitch Bardot top pairs perfectly with the shorts and gives the same peek-a-boo effect of lace. Amp it up with some black ankle boots - if you can walk in them long enough. Though the chunky circle heel will make these way more comfortable than expected.

Rocker

There’s a lot of creative variety up there, and I tried to stray away from showing you a plain white tank top, but I absolutely could not end this blog post without shoving this AWESOME pink transparent glittery fanny pack in your face. It can go with pretty much any look you go for.

Ok, now I'm done. See you at the second stage at 5?
