Summer Walker: The next big star out of Atlanta?

With the recent climate of Hip Hop and Rap, it's easily noticeable that the South has been dominating the culture for a few years now particularly artists from Atlanta, GA.

With artists like 2 Chainz, Migos and Gucci Mane, the beautiful songstress Summer Walker is a breath of fresh air compared to the usual "southern trap music" that has been prevalent for the past 2 decades. Her gritty yet soulful voice in tune with her relatable lyrics makes her even more likely to be a star in the making. From "Girls Need Love", "CPR" and "Deep", I'm eager for her discography to grow and to see her stardom shine. She's currently signed to LVRN Records -- an Atlanta-based indie label which has a partnership with Interscope and who is also behind DRAM and 6LACK -- and I'm sure there's nothing but greatness coming our way. If you're a fan of SZA, H.E.R., or Ella Mai brace yourself for another addition in your playlist!
