9 celebrity-inspired Holiday looks

It’s the most wonderful time of the year, but it’s also the most stressful. Between studying for finals, packing up to head home for the winter, and buying gifts for [insert hard-to-shop-for-family-member here], we find by the time it’s all over we’re in more of a holi-daze. Naturally, we want to dress to impress at all of our upcoming festivities, but who has the time to come up with the perfect look when you’re pulling all-nighters at the library?

We've taken the guess work out of holiday shopping for you by looking to the A-List for some major holiday fashion inspo and now we’re ready to Jingle Bell Rock. Enjoy.

1. Kylie Jenner

When Kylie Jenner rocked this ornate mini of her own to the Balmain x H&M show, we gagged on the eleganza. Jack her style this holiday season in rich velvet, thick golden embroidery, and strategically placed mirrors that’ll see you sparkle and shine all night long, just like the North Star. The For Love & Lemons Ornate Velvet Mini Dress is perfect for this look. Add thigh high boots to complete the look and more importantly, to stay warm.

2. Rihanna

Rihanna is 90’s perfection in this red velvet slip dress from Urban Outfitters and you can be, too. Velvet is THE trending fabric of the holiday season, so you really can’t go wrong no matter what the length or neckline. RiRi pairs this look with a glass of wine, so it’s not exactly hard to picture yourself in it, is it?

3. Beyoncé

Channel Queen Bey in this canary diamond in the rough. Style with a Halo instead of a baseball bat if you’re looking to be invited back next year.

4. Kendall Jenner

If there’s one Kardashian/Jenner sister that can pull off absolutely anything, it’s Kendall. She celebrated her 21st birthday in this slinky silver dress (while channeling Paris Hilton circa her 21st birthday) and there’s no dress we’d rather be wearing when it comes time to ring in the New Year. Goodbye forever 2016. Get the look with this Boohoo stunner.

5. Blake Lively

Copy Blake’s look from head-to-toe when you step into hosting duties this Christmas. Pair this Golden Pleated Midi Skirt with a crisp white button-down and you’ll look put together enough to stave off questions about why you haven’t picked a major yet…

6. Taylor Swift

Celebrate a year gone by in this black romper à la Taylor Swift and think fondly back to December for the duration of the holiday season. We love any event where we’re not stuck in an annoying dress for the whole night, so feel free to do cartwheels. Accessorize with a red lip and a BFF who doesn’t mind being on zipper duty every time you need to pee.

7. North West

It’s annoying that there’s a 3-year-old on this list, but we ain’t mad. North West is slaying so hard in this gold velvet mini that we almost forgot to ask where Penelope is at (almost. P, where you at?). Replicate the look in this 2020Ave dress with a choker and high pony to take it from “awww” to “OWWW!!”

8. Millie Brown

Why be a 10 when you can be an Eleven? Millie Brown turned the fashion world upside-down (see what I did there?) when she killed that demogorgon and started kicking ass and taking names on the red carpet. Get the look for your big holiday fête by stepping into this ladylike sheer midi complete with velvet red roses.

9. Bella Hadid

Show some unexpected skin by recreating Bella’s Grammy look for your holiday festivities! The cutouts on this Wildfox dress are super sexy, but modest enough that they cover your belly. That said, feel free to over-indulge on that meat and cheese platter and go to town on the Christmas cookies. ‘Tis the season!
