Meet the Belle & Bloom 'Design a bag' comp winner!

We recently ran a comp with Belle & Bloom that gave one lucky student the chance to design B&B’s next handbag—and see it come to life! (Plus score a $500 gift card to cop some bag swag.)

Big thanks to everyone who entered, but there can only be one winner...

Dan lets us inside her bag of design tricks and tells us more about her creation...

Congrats, Dan! How does it feel to win?

I’m extremely surprised that I won! I would never have expected it and I’m really, really happy. It’s amazing to hear that what I designed will become an actual product. I’d like to thank UNiDAYS and Belle & Bloom for the opportunity, as it really helps amateur designers like myself to gain experience.

What inspired your ‘Rainbow’ design?

I really like bucket bags, as they’re versatile and go with almost any outfit. I added accessories to the bag, such as the gold handles (for some glam and sophistication), plus pops of colour in the rainbow fabric straps (to make it funky). The colours correspond to Belle & Bloom’s current colour scheme.

Don’t forget us when you’re famous, Dan!

Look out for more opportunities to launch your future career with UNiDAYS. They’re coming soon!
