4 new Harry Potter eBooks are coming & Twitter says no ty

JK Rowling is set to release 4 more eBooks from the 27th June that will delve into the “rich history” of the Wizarding World of Harry Potter. They’re going to be “bite-sized” non-fiction books delving through your fav subjects Charms, Defence Against the Dark Arts, Potions, Herbology, Divination and Astronomy and Care of Magical Creatures. Fair warning tho, they're technically not written by her. It'll be contributions by Pottermore writers who will give some more context into the magical history of each of these subjects and take inspiration from Pottermore and 'Harry Potter: A History of Magic'.

You'd think this is a cause of celebration for the internet who adore the Harry Potter series, but since JK Rowling's been so active with fact-dropping for the Fantastic Beasts franchise, the internet is, quite frankly, not having it.

She's claimed that Nagini was a Maledictus all along (a woman with a blood curse which eventually turned her into the pet snake of Voldemort), that Albus Dumbledore and Gellert Grindelwald were young, "passionate" lovers, that Hermione was never meant to be white, that the "T" is silent in Voldemort, that Hagrid never had a Patronus because he couldn't pronounce it, the list goes on.

Because of her candor in revealing so many facts that were supposedly canon all along ESPECIALLY when no one asked, she's become something of a meme every time anything new in the Harry Potter universe is released.

These 4 new Harry Potter books have not dodged the shots being fired by skeptical Twitter users.
