What is UNiGIVES?

May 18th - 19th we’ll donate $1 for every UNiDAYS purchase* to the global COVID-19 Solidarity Response Fund. Every time you shop using a UNiDAYS discount code, you’ll be helping to prevent, detect and respond to the pandemic around the world.

What impact will the donations have?

Your donations will help a variety of different initiatives to support:

• Helping to track and understand the spread of the virus;
• Ensuring patients get the care they need, and frontline workers get essential supplies and information;
• Helping countries, especially those with fewer resources, expand their healthcare capacity and reduce the impact of the virus, particularly amongst the most vulnerable

Already, WHO has sent more than 4.5 million pieces of personal protective equipment – including masks, gloves, overalls – to more than 133 countries, and 1.5m testing kits to 126 countries. Additionally, WHO has invited UNICEF and CEPI (Coalition for Epidemic Preparedness Innovations) to become partners in the Fund, to increase support for the most vulnerable communities, especially children, and to speed development of a vaccine.

• $25 can buy 10 liter-sized bottles of disinfectant gel for use in hospitals
• $100 3,750 surgical masks for health workers
• $1000 gets 24,600 pairs of gloves for medical exams
• $50 can buy 10 protective reusable aprons for health workers
• $500 can buy 168 protective hooded coveralls for healthcare workers
• $2500 can buy 100 digital thermometers
