Domino’s to add vegan cheese to their menu

Every poor student’s favourite budget takeout chain, Domino’s has just gone and given the vegans a stellar start to 2018. The pizza chain announced today that they would be adding vegan cheese to their menus.

The menu change comes as a result to the growing trend of plant based, meat free products. Yes guys, in case you hadn’t noticed, being vegan is SAAAHH HOT RN.

Initially there will be three new vegan pizzas on the menu - the Vegan Avocado Veg, the Vegan Spicy Trio and the Vegan Margherita. You can also add vegan cheese to any other pizza for the very low cost of $2.95.

Domino’s CEO, Nick Knight had this to say about the new menu additions. “We have tested this cheese in our LuvLab development kitchen, and confirmed this vegan-friendly alternative has the same taste, texture and melt as real dairy cheese. It’s also cholesterol free, making it the perfect, healthy indulgence.”

We’re pretty sure that LuvLab is the best possible name you could give a pizza testing kitchen. Well played Domino’s.

Happy cheesing vegans and lactose avoiders.
