4 reasons to visit Uluru

Seeing as though we have an epic competition for you to win a 7 day trip to Uluru with Adventure Tours, I thought I’d tell you a little bit more about this magical place…

Uluru (or Ayers Rock) is located in the Red Centre of the Northern Territory, Australia. Uluru is one of the greatest natural attractions and an iconic landmark of Australia, definitely one to tick off your bucket list! The giant sandstone monolith towers over the desert landscape of the World Heritage Listed Uluru - Kata Tjuta National Park and is a site to be seen.

1. Dreamy sunset

Watching the colours change over the amazing landscape is said to be a breathtaking experience. With two special viewing areas at Ayers Rock either at dawn or dusk, you won’t miss out on the perfect photo opportunity.

2. Helicopter flight

Take the scenic route high up in the sky for the most perfect view of the national park.

3. Base walk

Discover diverse plants, animals and geological features as you encounter bloodwoods, native grasses and many soaks and waterways - the best way to fully appreciate the natural beauty of Uluru.

4. Camel ride

Ride a camel and embark on an unforgettable journey through red dune country.

If this sounds like the sort of adventure you’re after, make sure you enter the competition!
