The 4 UK artists on Drake’s new album that you need to hear

Drake’s More Life album is the hottest thing on everyone's lips right now and is currently dominating the streaming charts. The Canadian-born rapper has reached out across the pond to gather some of our home grown talent for this 22 track album. This is undoubtedly great exposure for the UK music industry and will help boost the awareness of American listeners to UK artists.

Here is a list of the gifted individuals who are reppin’ for the UK!

1. Jorja Smith

This 19-year-old West Midlands RnB singer came 4th place in the BBC sound of 2017 short list. She has been compared to the likes of Lauryn Hill with her soulful voice and realistic lyrics.

The singer was working in Starbucks only a year ago when her Soundcloud song Blue lights began to get popular, her star has been on the rise ever since. Jorja is currently unsigned but says she’s happy to continue the way things are, and by the looks of it, she seems to be doing more than alright on her own.
