10 rom-coms to watch alone on Valentine's Day

Love is in the air, so you better get a gas mask.

Are you single for Valentine’s Day this year? Are all of your friends and roommates going on cute dates that night, leaving you home to cry about being single? Well, fear not. We’ve made a list of rom-coms that will fill that relationship void in your life perfectly. Best served with wine and chocolate.

Crazy Rich Asians

The gowns. The sceneries. The parties. The FOOD. Lose yourself in this cinematic masterpiece and then cry about the plane scene at the end (don’t worry, no spoilers here) while curled up in a nice fuzzy blanket. You deserve it.

To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before

Noah Centineo will keep you company on Valentine’s Day, don’t worry (I know you were worried he wouldn’t). Fall in love with this adorable movie all over again and mentally prepare yourself for the SEQUEL that we’ve been blessed with.

When Harry Met Sally

This is one of my favourite movies of all time, and it’s SUCH a good one to watch on Valentine’s Day. I’m a sucker for a good friends-turned-lovers story, and this is one of the best ones out there.

13 going on 30

If it’s good enough for Ariana Grande, it’s good enough for us. This is such a cute, feel-good movie that will distract you from how lonely you might be feeling. And isn’t that exactly what you need when you’re single on Valentine’s Day?

Clueless

Have you seen this movie too many times already? AS IF. Let Cher remind you of what a boss you are, while giving you some laughs and major fashion envy along the way. It’s an oldie but a goodie.

Bridesmaids

This movie will never not make me LOL. It’s the best kind of movie to get lost in and watch while ignoring the rest of the world. What did we do to deserve Melissa McCarthy?

Love, Simon

You’ll laugh, you’ll cry, you’ll fall in love...this movie has it all. It’s the perfect thing to watch if you need to feel every single emotion at the same time. It’s worth it.

Trainwreck

Another movie that’ll bring you to laugh-crying to real crying in a snap. I love their relationship in this movie so much, and I honestly can’t explain why. Plus, the ending is the greatest and cutest ending of any movie EVER.

27 Dresses

“Always the bridesmaid, never the bride.” This is a little bit of a TBT but it doesn’t get old, in my opinion. You get to make fun of some dresses and watch an unlikely love blossom...and get a drunk performance of “Benny and the Jets” along the way.

Valentine’s Day

I mean, why wouldn’t you watch Valentine’s Day on Valentine’s Day? I miss Taylor Swift’s acting career (and her relationship with Taylor Lautner) every day. This movie makes you laugh, cry, and go “AWWWW” out loud, even if you’re the only one in the room. We won’t judge.
