4 Easter Pinterest vs reality treats

Easter is my favourite time of year, pastels and all-things-chocolate are definitely up my street. Whilst having a Pinterest browse, I kept seeing Easter recipes that I simply had to give a go. I definitely put my own spin on a few things though! Here are 4 Pinterest vs reality treats perfect for this weekend. Check out our Pinterest Nom Central board for more tasty treat inspiration!

1. Mini Egg cookies

Cookies aren’t the first thing that spring to my mind when I think ‘Easter’, but when I spotted these, I had to give them a go! Mini Eggs have pretty much become an Easter staple so they had to go into something! Okay, so as you’ll notice, my cookies are a little bit flatter than the others (my oven was on a little too high!) but I was assured they still tasted okay.

2. Easter Meringues

Meringue is a family favourite, and these easter themed ones are a great Easter Sunday pudding. (also meringues are low-fat, so are a little less guilty than the other options)

3. Easter Cupcakes

Cupcakes are a core part of my baking repertoire, so I had to make some Easter specific ones! These are worth the effort, and make a great Easter gift for loved ones instead of an Easter egg.
