London Fashion Week: Street style review

London fashion week kicked off in full swing and while designers were showcasing their SS’20 collections, it was the autumnal street style that kicked up a fuss.

Like a fresher’s week club night, the streets were flooded with fresh faces. Parading through Oxford Street and Tottenham Court Road, you could hear the style gurus before you saw them with boots: long, short, square toed and even cowboy style that certainly left an impression.

Structured blazers continue to be a staple for the coming season. With a mix of plaid and dogtooth patterns to shake things up. This year street style echoed all the Clueless vibes, but the fashionistas were anything but, pairing classic prints with soft autumnal shades and prints.

While beige was the colour of last season and we were totally hear for it. However this year’s Autumn/Winter style is moving onto chocolate-box browns and caramel shades. Whether you prefer to style the shade with a colour block or opt for something more subtle, it's time to experiment with this new shade.

Amidst the hard-shoulder blazers was a flurry of flawless gowns, reminding us that Spring/Summer 20 will soon be here before we know it! Think floaty, colourful and maxi for all the new season vibes.
