If you have a thing for being in the presence of the ~undead~, we've got some good news for you. Since it's the spookiest time of year, we thought we'd round up some of the world's most haunted places...aka, plan your next trip for you.

Ancient Ram Inn (Wotton-under-Edge, England)

This inn dates back to the 12th century, and is believed to be on a pagan burial ground. Over 20 spirits haunt it to this day.

Lizzie Borden House (Fall River, Massachusetts, USA)

In 1892, Lizzie Borden’s parents were gruesomely murdered in their home, possibly by Lizzie. The murder case remains open to this day, and guests of the home-turned-bed and breakfast report paranormal sightings and sounds.

Casa Loma (Toronto, Canada)

This 1914 house is full of secret passageways and long corridors. Tourists have reported similar experiences with ghosts grabbing them, watching them, and walking by them.

Hoia Baciu Forest (Cluj-Napoca, Romania)

This forest is one of the most haunted places in the world. Unexplained sightings, sounds, apparitions, and even feelings of being watched have been reported here.

Monte Cristo Homestead (Junee, New South Wales, Australia)

As the most haunted house in Australia, this house is haunted by the original homeowner and his family, as well as the ghosts of families and hired helpers who have lived in the home over the years and died in tragic accidents.

Château de Trécesson (Brittany, France)

This medieval castle is haunted by many spirits, including a bride who was buried alive in the walls of the castle on her wedding morning. It even has a whole “ghost room.”

Sai Ying Pun Community Complex (High Street, Hong Kong, China)

This grand building was allegedly the home of many executions during World War II. After the war, it was converted into a psychiatric institution and abandoned in 1961. Headless poltergeists and devilish spirits are said to roam the halls to this day.
