10 things you need to celebrate the return of Game of Thrones

Good News: Winter is here.

If you're anything like me and everyone else I know (besides a few squeamish friends), you're in all of your glory on Sunday nights during the epic return of Game of Thrones.

Because we get a student discount at The HBO Store, we thought it would be a really good place to start to kick off the festivities, and boy, we weren't wrong.

SPOILER ALERT: I’ll mention some plot points from Season 6 so if you’re not caught up please do so before reading.

You can't tell me that seeing toes in that pie (Arya Stark you're an animal) didn't make you a little curious about Medieval style cooking! I think it's only fitting that you do a little cooking out of this cookbook, there's a great mulled wine recipe and a killer seafood tart appetizer. If you don’t feel like making Pigeon Pie and Honeyed Locusts, most of the recipes include modern interpretations that are significantly easier.

Obviously the most important part of any Game of Thrones viewing party is making sure that every time Cersei or Tyrion has a glass of wine in their hand, you're ready to match them glass for glass.

Stock up on these wine glasses for a season to remember (hopefully). This sweater is awesome and I desperately need one for my viewing party. It’s a sweatshirt but has the look of your favorite crewneck sweater that you could dress up with a buttondown shirt underneath or wear to class as-is.

Remember the awesome music during the explosive opening sequence of the Season 6 finale? It’s here (cheekily titled Light Of The Seven), and all the great music from Season 6 by award-winning composer Ramin Djawadi is here, too.

GOT Party

Most intense game of Clue ever? It was Cersei Lannister, In the Sept of Baelor, with the Wildfire.

If the sweatshirt above isn't your style, I think we've got just the solution. Try not to cry. Fail miserably. And then make everyone around you cry, too when you’re sporting this Hodor tee.

Everyone loves to color, but instead of those weird adult coloring books use your creativity to recreate your favorite sets and moments from the show. Make sure to buy extra red markers.

Maybe you haven’t actually read the books yet, and honestly that's okay at this point. Sometimes I like to keep them on hand at a party to be able to reference them once in a while if need be. This hasn't worked so great since we've gone off book, but they're still a nice touch!

I'm not sure if it's supposed to snow on Sunday (is winter actually coming? I'm confused) but here's an awesome umbrella that'll help you keep dry in style. For those of us that struggle to stay awake for GOT, try one of these awesome heat-sensitive mugs that change color with your coffee are pretty damn cool, and this one with Daenerys’ very long name is a great addition to your extensive novelty mug collection.

I know the wait has been terrible, but take a deep breath and don’t be like Tommen. WE MADE IT! May The Seven save us all.
