3 easy things you can do to save money as a fresher

We’re sure you’ve heard about all the money people tend to waste during freshers week, going out, eating out, travelling, exploring the new city they’ve moved to, but, there are a couple of things you can do in order to save as much ££ as you can as a fresher.

1. Find cheap convenience stores in your area

Whilst you’re exploring your city, make it a priority to be on the lookout for convenience stores in the area you’re living in. While the big name stores are fine, if you’re able to find stores where they sell items that you buy on a regular basis for less, then that always help save the pennies.

2. Cook in bulk

Find a convenience store most suitable for you, buy your ingredients and cook in bulk. Make 2-3 dishes on one day and keep them refrigerated for the whole week. This saves a lot of time and money.

You could even freeze these dishes and save them for the following week. If you’re planning to freeze meat dishes make sure you do some research on how long you can freeze them for.
