5 questions you might have on the Royal Wedding

It feels like a lifetime ago since Kensington Palace confirmed that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle will marry! So I've put together all of the things you need to know before the wedding. Thank me later.

1. When is the big day?

The Royal Wedding is on Saturday 19 May and will be held at St George’s Chapel, Windsor Castle at 12.00. Having the wedding on a Saturday is just one of the ways that the couple are breaking royal tradition.

2. Who is Meghan Markle? How did they meet?

Rachel Meghan Markle is an American actress and humanitarian born and raised in LA. She is known for her role as Rachel Zane in the popular series, Suits. Meghan met Prince Harry in Toronto while he was launching the 2017 Invictus Games. They were set up by their mutual friend Markus Anderson.

3. Who is to attend?

Alongside the immediate royal family, high profile guests rumoured to attend include Ellie Goulding, Cara Delevingne, David and Victoria Beckham, Serena Williams and Olivia Palermo. The couple have also invited inspiring members of the community to watch outside the chapel as they get married.

4. It’s going to cost HOW MUCH?!

Experienced wedding planners are estimating that the wedding will cost between £1.5 - £2 million, excluding the (pretty hefty) costs for security.

5. Where and how can I watch?

The BBC will be filming the ceremony, and millions are anticipated to watch all over the world.

If you want to host the most extra royal wedding party in celebration of the big day, it would be rude not to use some of these prosecco recipes
