5 artists you need to see at Park Life

If you’re from around Manchester, there’s only one place to be on the 9th and 10th of June… Park Life music festival! Luckily for you, we’ve pulled together the top five artists you totally need to check out that weekend.

1. Sigrid

Big things were expected from Sigrid, Norwegian singer and songwriter after she won the BBC Music Sound of 2018 award. At 21 years old she may only be young but she’s definitely making a name for herself around the world. Get a taste of what could go down by watching her performance on Jools Holland below.

2. J Hus

J Hus has been taking the charts by storm and his debut album was hugely popular with the Gen-Z audience. He was also nominated for 3 BRIT awards including single of the year and album of the year. He is a huge rising star on the British Urban scene and is definitely one to watch!

3. Jessie Ware

Take some time out from a weekend of partying and slow things down a bit with the soothing sounds of Jessie Ware.

RAYE is an up and coming artist who’s definitely one to keep an eye on. Being shortlisted for the BBC Music sound of 2017 award it was clear that she definitely on the up and we’re expecting big things. You should totally check out her track with Mable and Stefflon Don who have combined to make the ultimate trio of female artists.

5. Dave

What a year it’s been for Dave. In the last half of 2017, Dave released his EP entitled Game Over, which was a huge critical success. His tracks cover everything from politics to sex and relationships, and it’s this emotional and honest style which has gained him a huge following. All this and he’s just 19 yeard old!
