10 epic places to celebrate London's Brunch Weekender

Breakfast… the most important meal of the day? We all know that’s not true. Taking place across 21st and 22nd September, DesignMyNight’s Brunch Weekender is an entire weekend dedicated to the midday meal, where you can grab bottomless brunch for £20 at some of London’s coolest restaurants, or £10 for a dish and a drink if bottomless doesn’t tickle your fancy. Need help deciding where to go? Don’t sweat it; here are the top 10 to get eggcited about.

The Courtyard

Maybe the best bargain of the lot, The Courtyard are offering three courses of Mexican food and 90 minutes of bottomless booze for £20 this September. Loaded nachos will kick start your feast, followed by one giant taco main and two tasty sides, all accompanied by bottomless beer, wine and prosecco. Boasting a DJ come 8pm and an Instagrammable garden to lounge in, don’t be too shocked when find yourself here come closing time.

Aeronaut

London isn’t short of peculiar pubs, but Aeronaut should 100% be on your radar. This Acton gem is circus-inspired and it has its very own fairground garden. Thankfully, it’s taking part in this year’s Brunch Weekender, which means you can grab two hours of bottomless bloody marys and mimosas and an item from their brunch menu for £20. Oh, and did we mention that it’s gonna be 90s-themed? Say you’ll be there.

Near & Far

Giant shoes hanging from the walls, street food from around the globe and some very questionable floor-length leather jackets. There are plenty of reasons to visit Camden and we’re coming at you with one more. Near & Far is taking part in Brunch Weekender, and for £10 you can scoff their legendary huevos rancheros, with a classic margarita on the side for £10. Complete with a palm tree roof terrace, hanging chairs and a pink basement, add this funky spot to the top of your list.

All Star Lanes

The first thing you think of when you hear All Star Lanes? It’s probably bowling but this September you should be thinking ‘brunch’. These guys are taking part in Brunch Weekender, offering a £10, and a £20 brunch bargain. The bottomless option will see you drinking unlimited prosecco, mimosas or craft beer for two hours, with £10 bagging you a brunch dish and a flute of fizz. Can you have a game of bowling after? Of course… just try and keep the ball outta the gutter.

Brewdog

If beer is your beverage of choice, there’s no need to continue reading this article. Brewdog are going all out for Brunch Weekender this year, and £20 will get you two hours of unlimited pints and a banging brunch dish (their brunch burger is a meaty monster constructed with everything from hash browns and fried eggs to black pudding and smoked streaky bacon). Best of all? It’s dog-friendly, so you can bring your pooch along for the bottomless fun.

Cottons

Ready for something a little bolder than eggs benedict? Something a little wilder than a full English? Cottons have what you’re looking for. This Vauxhall restaurant brings fiery flavours to the table every night of the week, and for Brunch Weekender you can tuck into one of their signature dishes (think deep south corned beef hash and Arubian jerk chicken tacos), with free-flowing prosecco and rum-spiked punch to help wash everything down.

Dirty Bones

Mac ‘n’ cheese stuffed into burgers and the best fried chicken in all the land? There’s no doubt about it - Dirty Bones is a restaurant for your London bucket list. Turn your eye towards their brunch in September as the NYC-inspired eatery is taking part in Brunch Weekender, bringing you a signature short rib or avocado crumpet and a brunch cocktail - choose from the hip monkey or the uptown spritz - for £10.

Brother Marcus

If you’re serious about your brunch game, you should visit Brother Marcus. With awards flung at them left, right, and centre, their plates have become Insta-famous and you can try them this September for £10 (with a brunch cocktail thrown in for good measure). Pick from Bob’s your uncle, yummy mummy and other favourites, but we reckon you should go for the sugar daddy. It’s a really fancy version of French toast… with bacon floss. We don’t really know what bacon floss is, but whatever it is - we want it.

Big Chill

Big Chill in King’s Cross gets a big fat gold star for its pink roof terrace and an even bigger one for its brunch. Taking part in this year’s brunch celebrations, you can choose one of their special plates; think PB&J French toast, fluffy buttermilk pancakes and chuck hash, alongside 90 minutes of bottomless prosecco, all for £20. The perfect Sunday session? There’s no doubt about it.

Absurd Bird

The humble home to all things chicken, Absurd Bird are flying high this Brunch Weekender. Make your way to their coop on Saturday or Sunday (or both if you think you can handle it) and get ready for 90 minutes of free-flowing bubbly or beer, with a tasty dish to help soak up your booze intake. Chicken and waffles, Absurd benedict and some top vegan dishes will star on the menu, giving you plenty of choices to mull over.
