T&Cs: Win an internship in India with Project Everest Ventures

Part A – Standard Application Terms

1. Promoter

The promoter is UNiDAYS Australia Pty Limited of Level 19, 45 Clarence Street, Sydney, NSW, 2000.

2. Eligibility

To apply for this internship you must be aged 18 years or older. By applying, you confirm that you are within this age range.

This internship application is not open to:

  • employees of the Promoter or its subsidiary companies;
  • employees of agents of the Promoter or subsidiary companies, who are professionally connected with the internship or its administration; or
  • members of the immediate families or households of (i) and (ii) above.

The Promoter will not accept and will not count internship applications that are: automatically generated by a computer (including systems which can be programmed to vote) or by macros;

  • completed by third parties or in bulk;
  • illegible, have been altered, reconstructed, forged or tampered with; or
  • incomplete.

Applications on behalf of another person will not be accepted and joint submissions are not allowed.

3.Acceptance of Terms and Conditions

Together the “Part A - Standard Application Terms” and “Part B - Specific Application Terms” constitute the Terms and Conditions applicable to the internship application.

Please read the Terms and Conditions carefully and make sure that you understand them, before taking part in the application. By submitting an internship application entry, you are agreeing to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

4. Data Protection

By completing the application form, you agree that the Promoter may use your name, image and town, county or region of residence for any reasonable and related promotional purposes.

By applying, you agree that if you are successful, you will participate, for no additional fee, in any reasonable publicity arranged by the Promoter, its agents or suppliers.

By applying for the internship, you agree that any personal information provided by you on the application form may be held and used only by the Promoter or its agents and suppliers to administer the competition and for the purposes set out in these Terms and Conditions.

Any personal information collected by the Promoter will be processed in accordance with applicable data protection laws.

5. Ownership of applications and intellectual property rights

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed under the laws of New South Wales. Any dispute arising from, or related to, your use of the service shall be subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales.

Part B – Specific Application Terms

1. Additional eligibility criteria

This internship application is only open to residents in Australia.

2. Application Mechanics

Applications will be open from 12:01am AEST on 10th February (the “Opening Date”) to 11:59pm AEST on 2nd March 2020 (the “Closing Date”) inclusive.

All applications must be received no later than the Closing Date. All applications received after the Closing Date are automatically excluded.

To apply for the internship you must complete the application form on the Project Everest Ventures site.

Once the application has been received the applicant will be contacted by Project Everest Ventures and UNiDAYS

The applicant will be required to attend an interview with Project Everest Ventures in order to be offered an internship placement.

3. The Prize

The Prize is supplied by Project Everest ventures (the “Supplier”) of 233 Bulwara Rd, Ultimo NSW 2007

The prize is a Project with Project Everest Ventures, valued at $3,950 AUD (“Prize”).

There is one prize to be won.

The Project date is 29th June 2020 to 25th July 2020, located in India with some briefing required in Sydney ahead of the departure date.

The internship will take place in India.

The internship will involve a project designed to meet the needs of the local community in-country to ensure that a long term and ongoing sustainable impact can be achieved and will be related to one of the following ventures: Energy and Infrastructure, Biomass Fuels, Agriculture Assessment, MedTech, Hidden Hunger, Microfinance, Solar Solutions, Female Hygiene & Sanitation, Sustainable Stoves, Farm Ed, Social Consulting and Sustainable Stoves.

The activities within the internship are subject to change due to availability.

All terms and conditions outlined by Project Everest Ventures will apply and can be accessed here

Any associated VISA requirements and flights for this internship are not covered by Project Everest Ventures or UNiDAYS.

The Promoter reserves the right to replace the prize with an alternative prize of equal value if circumstances beyond the Promoter’s control make it necessary to do so.

4. Announcement

By applying for this internship you agree that your first name, last name, email address, mobile number and university will be shared with the Project Everest Ventures who are responsible for running the internship opportunity.

All applicants will be contacted by phone call or email by the Supplier by 31st October 2019 (the “Announcement Date”) to confirm next steps.
