New season favourites at Missguided

I’m going to guess that that first loan drop is burning a hole in your pocket and you’re desperate to go out and spend it. While most people would advise you to save it, I instead say invest in some new season pieces while there’s boosted discounts and then budget the rest. Right now Missguided have an amazing 25% off when you use your UNiDAYS discount and I’ve picked some of my fave pieces from my fave trends to share with you guys.

Khaki queen

Khaki is one of my favourite colours so I’m glad it’s still going to be so big for this Autumn. I think that a khaki coat is a great way to liven up any monochrome outfit, so get yourself a nice warm one for the coming months. I love these tapered khaki trousers for a chic daytime look or this khaki shirt - the tie-waist gives it a really nice shape. For a gorgeous dressed-up style, this khaki dress is literally perfect. I think mesh is such a good fabric for a going-out look. Article-size_missguided_1

Shoe heaven

I’m the kind of girl who believes that you can never have too many shoes! And missguided have got you covered whatever the weather. For a stylish-yet-warm winter boot, how about these over-the-knee lace up boots? If you want something shorter then these grey boots are gorgeous. If you’re after a new night-out pair of heels (or you’re just a heels girl like me) then these tan pair are for you - I love the lace-up style. If you prefer flats then I love this statement snake print pair. Article-size_missguided_2

Winter warmers

We all face exactly the same struggle every year once the weather turns colder - we want to be warm but we still want to look good. I think a roll neck is a great way to fight off the cold and I love this fluffy jumper dress - it’ll look so good with over-the-knee boots. If you need a little extra layering but don’t want to get the winter coat out yet then a faux fur gilet is a great way to do that - and black will go with everything. You can’t always rely solely on your alcohol coat to keep you from getting frostbite on a night out but the cloakroom queues are always so long - instead of carrying a coat around, opt for a dress with a thick fabric like this one. I think a swing dress worn with black tights and heeled boots makes for a chic autumnal style - I love this burgundy colour too. Article-size_missguided_3
