UNiDAYS Student Woman of the Year 2023 is here!

Find out more about this year’s competition and enter before 31 March.

We’re celebrating International Women’s Day with the Student Women of the Year Awards. We want to recognise all of the amazing female-identifying students out there to shine a light on those who challenge, disrupt and inspire to make the world a better place.

How do I enter?

To nominate your Student Woman of the Year, tell us in 150 words or less, via this online form (now closed), why they deserve to win.

What’s the prize?

So this is kind of a big deal. The prize is £1000 for the winner and 15 nominees will be invited to our exclusive SWOTY celebration event.

Can anyone nominate someone?

Yes, as long as you’re 16 or over.

Can I nominate more than one person?

Yes, absolutely! You can nominate as many people as you like.

Can I nominate myself?

Go for it! If you’ve done something to make a difference, we want to hear about it.

How will I know if I’ve won?

The winner will be contacted by UNiDAYS.

What are the full terms and conditions?

The full terms and conditions can be found here.

Why just women, what about men?

Despite all the progress made for gender equality we know there's still a way to go, for example, female graduates still earn less than their male counterparts. Not fair. Not cool. We want female-identifying students to feel empowered like the absolute bosses they are. We've aligned this competition with International Women's Day. Guys don’t worry, we'll also be embracing International Men’s Day on 19 November too.
