Cus she nails all black errthang. Basically.
2. Sarah Connor from Terminator
Sarah had a nice life. She was working her way through college, waiting tables, and then people started dying. It turned out she was destined to give birth to the future leader of mankind’s resistance against Skynet and its army of machines. Did she crumble under the pressure? Absolutely not. She worked out, both her body and her demons (while imprisoned in a psych unit). When the T-1000 turned up to kill her son, she conquered her terror to team up with a copy of the first terminator to get the job done.
3. Mrs. George from Mean Girls
“I'm not like a regular mom, I'm a cool mom.” Enough said. Plus, she'd rather you drink in the house.
4. Lorelai Gilmore from Gilmore Girls
She gets the need for coffee and muffins and she's always got Rory's back.
5. Sophie from My Parents Are Aliens
Basically, the only mum from My Parents Are Aliens as far as I'm concerned. Barbara Durkin was the first to play Sophie in MPAA and she was my fave. So. Much. Blonde. Sass.
6. Joyce Byers from Stranger Things
When your son vanishes without a trace and the lights in your house are flickering for no apparent reason, there’s no one you want on your side more than Joyce. She’s dogged, determined and open-minded, and won’t stop searching in the face of a cynical police force. With added Christmas lights.
7. Will's Mom from Fresh Prince
This lady takes absolutely no prisoners. We love her! She raised this guy, what can we say?
8. Ellen Ripley from Aliens
After she defeated the first xenomorph, no one believed her (CCTV isn’t a thing in the future). But when colonists started going missing, she went in with the colonial marines and held her own in the face of insurmountable odds. When it became clear that there was no hope of a traditional victory, she rescued Newt (her sort of adopted daughter) and then beat all hell out of the alien queen using a power loader. Then she nuked the site from orbit. It was the only way to be sure.
