4 ways to make this summer productive

You look forward to summer for so long and then, within the blink of an eye, it’s gone and you don’t really feel like you’ve done anything or achieved anything. Not. Cool. Want to have a more productive summer this year? You’re in the right place. Here are 4 different ways to make this summer both rewarding and useful.

1. Volunteering

What better way to spend your free time than by contributing to society and making a difference? As well as helping those around you, volunteering is great for you too. You’ll get to improve your confidence, meet new people and gain more experience. Take on a challenge and have some fun with it!

2. Get organised

During exam season, life can get a lil’ bit messy, right? There’s no better feeling than throwing away old sheets and folders that you don’t need anymore, or just tidying up your bedroom or wardrobe. You’ll feel so much better for it afterwards.

3. Do something you've wanted to do for a while

Studying and exams can often mean that you don’t have a lot of time to do things you want to do. Make a list of everything you’ve been wanting to do over the last few months and start doing them! Whether you’ve been wanting to read a book, take up yoga or get into baking, now’s the perfect time.

4. Work on your CV or personal statement

Dedicating some of your free time to working on your CV or a personal statement is all kinds of productive. You’ve got a lot more time to think things through properly and you’ll definitely thank yourself later as it’s one less thing to worry about. Winner.
