Tiredness hiding beauty hacks

This time of year completely revolves around one thing: deadlines. It sucks, but it's true. We've all been there and know how sometimes it's tricky to try and look good when all you're trying to do is get that damn dissertation in! Plus, you're tired right? DO NOT FEAR. We've got some serious tips, tricks and hacks (not to mention some gorgeous product picks from House of Fraser) to tempt and transform you from sloth to hot in no time at all! We're not talking about slapping on all the products you own just to hide the fact that you've not slept for, what was it, 30-odd hours? We're talking about that fresh-faced 'I woke up like dis' look. Just like these gorgeous ladies below. face-1 To really disguise tired skin, you need to chill out from your hectic schedule. Take 10 minutes to relax in the shower and then splash your face with cold water to wake up your skin. If you've got really puffy eyes from too many Netflix-induced late nights then pop a couple of spoons into the fridge overnight and apply them to your eyes for a few minutes in the morning. Trust us - this works! Next up, moisturise and curl your eyelashes then apply your make-up. Don't pile it on - a little goes a long way. Cover any blemishes and try to use a highlighting or illuminating foundation. Add a little blusher and some mascara and finish off with a brightening lip-balm or gloss - anything to make you feel yourself again. face-2 If you feel like treating yourself to some new beauty treats, post-hand in, these are some of our favourites to recreate our favourite 'no make-up' beauty looks. Dior Glow Maximizer is the perfect light-boosting primer to wake up tired skin. Paired with the classic YSL Touche Eclat for those pesky under-eye circles and Clinique's Moisture Surge CC Cream for just enough coverage. It's a great start for looking human again! Our favourite lash curlers at the moment come from Bobbi Brown and they're amazing when paired with the Urban Decay Perversion Mascara. Finish off your face with Givenchy Prisme Libre Highlighting Powder - isn't this the prettiest? It'll highlight cheekbones like nothing else and you'll feel pretty fancy using it too. Our current lip-colour crush is Clinique's Chubby Stick Baby Tint in Coming Up Rosy, perfect for brightening complexions and it also suits most skin tones.
