Hugh Jackman opened the show
It’s not a usual sight at the BRITS to see a musical film number open the show but because of the success of The Greatest Showman, Hugh was able to treat us to a live performance of ‘The Greatest Show.’
Beyonce and Jay-Z stole the show and they weren’t even there
The power couple picked up the award for Best international Group and although they weren’t there in person to collect their BRIT their acceptance message was 100. They paid tribute to their ‘melanated mona’ Meghan Markle and congratulated her on her pregnancy.
Pink closed the show in style
Pink won the awards for Outstanding Contribution to Music and wowed the audience with her acrobatics. If there’s one thing she can do, it’s putting on a great show!
The 1975 picked up the big awards
The band picked up the awards for British Group and British Album. Matt Healy used one of his speeches to address misogyny in the music industry.
