How your donations help the Cotton On Foundation tackle poverty

By An Le

Do you know the impact that your purchase of Cotton On Foundation water bottles, tote bags, bracelets and tissues have on remote communities in Uganda, South Africa, Thailand and Australia?

A water bottle can provide 7 bricks to build a school.

A tote bag can give 3 exercise books for school kids.

A tin of mints means 28 pencils can be provided for schools.

A pack of tissues can equal pens for a whole class.

And all of these products are between just $2 - $5.

Tackling poverty sustainably

The Cotton On Foundation partners with customers (you!), team members and communities in the most remote regions around the globe and focus on long-term goals of providing education, infrastructure, healthcare and creating sustainability. 100% of their proceeds from customers purchasing Cotton On Foundation items and generous donations go towards these projects.

The local Cotton On Foundation team are on the ground, overseeing school builds, implementing teacher training and providing students and communities access to health and wellbeing services, all in an effort to empower youth so that they have the means to create a brighter future for themselves.

They break down their “Child’s Journey” approach into 6 stages that extend beyond the walls of a school:

On their 10th year anniversary, they celebrated by looking back on the amazing things they’ve achieved so far and looked towards the future at what still needs to be done.

Although they’ve achieved incredible milestones so far, your action can help them break the cycle of poverty.
